EL ELYON
God Most High

Psalm 91:1 - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

We must pray, fast, and seek the Lord, so it will become easier to dwell in the secret place of the “Most High” and abide under the shadow of the Almighty. El Elyon in the Hebrew means “Most High God”. Knowing God as the “Most High God” is the missing link in the body of Christ. El Elyon means authority. We have this mighty authority inside of us, but we need to know how to release it.

El Elyon in the Hebrew also means “to ascend, to go up, to climb, to exalt, far above, exceeding”. When we know God as El Elyon, we are abiding in His shadow and we are living and moving in Him. This is when you cannot tell us apart from Him.

Genesis 14:18 - And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

Melchizedek was the king of Salem, which is now Jerusalem. He was the priest of the Most High God (El Elyon). He was the one who could be exalted because He was the priest of the Most High. Melchizedek was a type of Jesus. El Elyon showed up when Melchizedek spoke to Abraham about tithing. Before Jesus came to earth, He was on the throne with God and was El Elyon there.

Psalm 22:6 - But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

Jesus came to earth and become as a worm or as no man. He left the high life and came to the low life.

Isaiah 14:12-20 - How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

Lucifer said there were five things that he would do.

(1) He would ascend into heaven.

(2) He would exalt his throne.

(3) He would sit upon the mount of the congregation.

(4) He would ascend above the heights of the clouds.

(5) He would be like the Most High.

One definition for El Elyon is “ascend”. The word “sit” means “authority”. Lucifer said he was going to be like El Elyon, but Lucifer is no comparison to God.

God said there were five things that would happen to Lucifer.

(1) He would be thrown into hell.

(2) He would be gazed upon, stared at, and looked at.

(3) He would be talked about. (Most church people talk about the devil more than they do God because they are living in the devil’s circle.)

(4) He would be cast out of his grave.

(5) He would be alone.

Numbers 24:16 - He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

Balaam loved money and material things. The king wanted Balaam to curse the north, east, south and west and, in return, the king would give him power. When Balaam tried to speak curses, only blessings would flow out of his mouth. We cannot curse what God has already blessed.

I Peter 2:9 - But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

We are a chosen generation. Generation in Hebrew means “circle”. We keep on going. There is no stopping us. We go from dimension to dimension. Going through the dimensions is what will rapture the church out of here. The end of the dimensions will be the end of temptation. As long as we are in the kingdom of God and the mysteries are being revealed to us, we are in the circle. The devil cannot come into the circle because he cannot cross the blood line.

Most people want to curse us but they cannot stop us. God is good, but so many times we forget who is working through us. We begin to think we are something. We are something in God, but without Him, we do not move, breathe or live. It is possible to become so tied up with ourselves that we create a powerful, but dark world around ourselves. If we stay within the circle, we will be limitless to where we can rise.

Genesis 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth. Melchizedek blessed Abraham. Abraham was able to go exceedingly above all he could ask.

Ephesians 3:20 - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Abraham was the chosen man of El Elyon. Abraham was going to be blessed. There was a covenant that took place here in the scriptures. Melchizedek was priest of the Most High God and Abraham was the child of the Most High God. When we begin to believe who we are and receive it, we can rise above our circumstances. It is time to walk in the blessings and to speak them into our lives.
