This is a very important question that we must answer today. I feel in my spirit that to answer that question, we must look at the Word of the Lord. Certainly, I feel that healing is for today, I would like to show you what the Lord showed me.

Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his strips we are healed.

In the translation or even in the Amplified Bible in verse 4 the word griefs is translated sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses. And he carried our sorrows which translates pains. Now if you go back and read this scripture in the original text, it reads surely he borne our sicknesses and carried our pains. The Bible says that he borne our sins, that means we do not have to carry them any longer. We have absolutely no problem with that, but the Bible also says he borne our sicknesses.

In verse 5 it says that he was wounded for our transgressions. The word transgression represents the Spirit. He was bruised for our iniquities which represents the soul. The chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his strips we are healed. This is talking about or representing the body. Jesus covered the whole being on the cross - Spirit, Soul, and Body. We are a Spirit, we possess a soul and we live in a body.

This was the prophet Isaiah foretelling what Jesus was going to do on the cross. To let you fully understand that everything that we have talked about concerning Isaiah is true. Turn in your Bible to:

Matthew 8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken of Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself (or Jesus) took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

The word bare means borne. If he bore our sicknesses, just like he did our sins, then we no longer have to have them. (Amen)

Now I want you to realize that everything that we have said has been from the scripture. I did not say this the scripture did. The Bible also says in:

Psalms 103:1-3 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.

Verse 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Now what is a benefit - it is a part of the package. So let us read verse 3 to find out what are the benefits who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases. There are two benefits in this package (1) forgiveth all our iniquities, (2) who healeth all thy diseases. He did not say part of our diseases, he said all of our diseases.

If he healed all of our diseases, that means we do not have to have them any longer. That is just a benefit of serving the Lord, being healed should be as simple as being saved.

Let us answer the question, where does sickness come from.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

The Bible says that every good and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights. Who is the Father of lights. We know that it is not Satan, then it is got to be God. The Bible says every good and perfect gift comes from God. Is cancer good? No, then it does not come from God. Read:

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The thief cometh not but to steal, to kill, and to destroy. What does cancer do; it kills your body, it destroys your mind, and it steals your joy.

If we study the scriptures, we see that Satan is the author of sickness, Jesus bore on Calvary. You do not have to walk in sickness anymore. The Devil has lied to you long enough. Do not listen to your body, listen to the Word. Jesus says that you are healed, believe it. The word believe means to talk or to possess. It is time to put the devil in his place, and for you to walk in the blessings of God. Jesus did not die in vain, he died for my sins and my diseases. (Psalms 103:1-3)

It is time to rise up, and receive this word of the Lord, and receive your healing spirit, soul, and body. Tell the devil that you are tired of being tired, and that you are coming out of that bondage.

I am going to give you more scriptures to read. Take time, study healing for yourself and let God minister to you. Go and be healed, that is God's plan.

1Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statues, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

II Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
