MEET THE MAN BEHIND THE VISION

Lester Sumrall entered into a worldwide ministry of missionary evangelism in 1932. For over sixty years, he ministered all over the world. He founded some of the great Pentecostal churches in the Orient and until his death on April 28, 1996, served as the senior pastor of Christian Center Cathedral of Praise in South Bend, Indiana.

Lester Sumrall was the founder of LeSEA Ministries, a multifaceted outreach whose goal is to win millions of immortal souls to Jesus. At the age of 75, Dr. Sumrall was thrust into a new dimension of evangelistic missions through an outreach to the world's hungry. Its compassion reaches to the far comers of the earth.

A powerful and dynamic speaker, Lester Sumrall ministered God's message with authority. He founded LeSEA Broadcasting, Inc., which owns and operates several television stations and a national satellite ministry. LeSEA Broadcasting also has three FM radio stations and five international short-wave stations with global coverage. The Gospel is broadcast over the radio and television airwaves 24 hours a day.
