THE UPPER ROOM TEEN CLUB

The Upper Room Teen Club has been established since 1999 for teens that are looking for an alternative from the world.  There are arcade style games, pool tables, air hockey and much more.  We have a café that is open with a variety of favorites with affordable prices.  It is FREE admission and the games are FREE with an exception of quarter arcade games.    We have an annual event called "Godz' Fest Block Party" that draws hundreds of teens from all over the city and surrounding areas.  We have several live bands  with a  variety of music and 3-on-3 basketball tournament, Pool tournament and many more festivities throughout the day.  We also,  book bands and groups periodically throughout the year that come and minister in a way to meet the needs of the young generation.    There have been many teens that have been reached or touched by God through the ministering of our nightly worship and devotion.  This is one of the most effective ways of ministering to this young generation in a way that they can understand and recognize the true meaning and love of Jesus Christ without the bondage of religion and make decisions that will impact them for the rest of their life.  The atmosphere of flashing lights, lava lamps and futon sofas and closed circuit television of ChristianTVU  music videos make it a place that they can see that Christians have fun away from the worldly influences and pier pressure.  For more information or to volunteer and be a part of reaching this young generation contact our church office.
