Vision Statement We are called to be vessels of God, to represent His Son, His Word, His love, His compassion and His power in the latter days of the dispensation of God's grace, the grace in which we walk and live. We will be witnesses of salvation through Jesus Christ, and witnesses of His healing power. We know that the Kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom. We will teach children and adults about this kingdom in which we live, and compel all to enter into it. We will teach young and old to worship and serve the Almighty God with genuine passion and commitment. We are doers of the Word of God, not hearers only. We will not only share the knowledge of Jesus Christ, we will feed the hungry, visit, clothe and shelter those in need. We will simply do the things that Jesus, our Lord, said do. We will teach children and adults, not just to survive and live in this world, but to overcome circumstances and hardships that sometimes occur in life. This is only possible by living a life committed to God, and walking in His ordinances and statues: Sin leads to heartache, pain, and eventual destruction. The world not only needs to hear about Jesus, they need to see Jesus. We will allow Jesus to manifest himself by meeting real needs of people that often live in a difficult world. Faith without works is a dead faith. Throughout every aspect and outreach of this ministry we will use common sense applications of the Word of God to meet everyday, real life, needs. Our objective is not to build buildings or create a large church, although we know this will be required to fulfill God's plans and purpose. We will meet the needs of the people that God sends to us. Nothing happens by mere chance, but everything that happens is an opportunity to let others see the love of Jesus Christ. The Vision of Harvest Fellowship Church is not a vision that originated with the thinking and planning of man, but a vision that God has placed in this group of believers. It has been confirmed many times as the will and purpose God has for this church. We are so certain of this, that we know it will come to pass; It is just a matter of walking daily by faith, and allowing God to work his plan in us. |
